About the Region
Where Yirgacheffe comes from
Yirgacheffe is a coffee-growing area in the Gedeo Zone of southern Ethiopia, and one of the best-known coffee names to come out of the country.
Coffee here is grown at high altitude, much of it on small family plots shaded by other trees. The name is closely associated with washed Ethiopian coffees and with a delicate, floral and citrus-leaning cup.
Our Yirgacheffe is roasted and packed by Habesha Coffee in Ethiopia and supplied as roasted beans or ground to order.
